Facade Design
The façade design originated from the combination of a tight budget, the buildings southerly orientation and the clients aspiration for a building that achieved a high environmental performance. In order to minimize solar gain the façade was required to have an overall opacity of 50%.
This was achieved this via a mixture of opaque, translucent and high performance clear glass panels.
